Oodinium disease
Symptoms
Very tiny dots on the skin or fin.
Cause
The parasite called oodinium is the main cause.
Fish looks as if it is covered in pepper, so it is also referred to as “pepper disease”.
The fish sick easily when the water quality is deteriorated.
Countermeasure
Copper ion is recognized to effective on this disease, but no effective way or medicine to cure so far.
Don’t bring in the infected fish is the most important.
