Cause
Parasite of Lernaeosis is the cause.
Lernaeosis is relative to kind of crustacean which called copepoda, which derived from the female have their head like head of anchor shaped during breeding season.
They reproduce at the temperature exceed 15℃ and stop growing below 12℃ until end of winter.
Only female invade into fish’s body, male extinct after copulation.
Depends on the fish species, we now know some also parasitize in fish’s mouth.
Countermeasure
Because of the feature of head of anchor shaped, Lernaeosis which invaded in fish’s body can’t be taken out physically such as pinset.
It is possible to be infected again after Lernaeosis is taken out physically from affected area, so take medical bath with Green-F gold, Kan-Para, and El Berge Ace will be effective.
