Symptoms
The symptom is possible can’t be observed by appearance.
It may be happened to massive parasitism if you can see these symptoms as below: slowly swim, gather on the surface of the water, the gill is opening, the fin is closing, the fin gets white and turbid, secret too much mucus.
If the fish get massive parasitism, they will be difficult to breath and die finally.

Cause
The parasite called Gyroactylus and Dactylogyrus are the main cause. Gyroactylus parasitize onto the skin, gill, and fin.
Dactylogyrus mainly parasitize to the gill. Both are annual parasite, especially Dactylogyrus active and prefer the water temperatures is over 25℃.

Countermeasure
For freshwater fish, it is effectiveness of short-time saltwater bath with high concentrations, but it is stress and dangerous for lager fry, so this way is not recommended.
