Glochidiosis
Symptoms
There is extraneous matter which is a little bit circle and flat with white, yellow, or brown color around fish’s mouth, fin, or gill.
Cause
It is caused by the parasitism of glochidiosis larvae of the unionoida. In some cases, heavily parasitize will result in weakness until death.
Unionoida which hatch from eggs is called glochidiosis, this is a kind of larvae of plankton. Their ecology is to parasitize the fish and grow, then leave them to live at the bottom of water tank.
Countermeasure
Wait for them leaving the fish naturally.
